Single wall top holes
Are these chrome brackets that go over the holes on a single wall top factory option? Are they just for looks or are they to keep bolt heads from rubbing the fiberglass? Thanks!

Re: Single wall top holes
I have them on mine and I think they're factory. Probably for both aesthetics and to spread the load out a bit on the bolts to the fiberglass so it doesn't crack out.

Re: Single wall top holes
Those aren't mine. Just some I seen on a single wall top. My single wall does not have any, can I order them? Because I know that my bolts cut into the fiberglass some.

Re: Single wall top holes
Those ones are probably on upside down to hold the side panels on
Best bet is to check the parts board they aren't reproed. I would expect them to be easy to come by. Posted via Mobile Device

No, pretty much make something up that describes them best. If you do a good enough job maybe it will stick

Re: Single wall top holes
Just buy some s.s stock and bring it to a sheet metal shop to have the bend put on in a brake and even the holes punched. then poish them up. they with work good and be shiny!!
