Blazer Tank Swap

I'm starting to get the parts together to swap a blazer tank into my 69 and i was wondering if you had to use a 69-72 blazer tank or if you could use any year?Any info is appreciated.Thanks.

They fit

up to the early 80's I belive .I got mine out of a 78 Blazer it will fit the long bed but won't fit my short step with coil springs.It will hang past the frame about 3" it can be done but not on my truck anyways.
