Supercharger

Anyone know of a super charger can be used with a carb? I thought that whipple was making/had one but I can't find anyinfo on it. The whipple is exactly what i wanted.

Saddly I did not see one for a carb application. I found Holleys supercharger but was not impressed with it.

They have jsut recently made SC for fuel injection. They used to be all made for carbs. You should be able to find one easily.

B&M,WEIND HOLLY ,GMC all are rootes type superchargers made for carbs

Vortech makes a centrifugal supercharger for a carb.Summit sells it polished just under 2500.00

What do you mean? Most of the superchargers on the market are for Carburetor. What kind of information are you looking for?

I thought that whipple made one but I could not find it. I think I am going to got for the 144. When I searched on line only thing I could find were the centrifugal chargers and I don't want that. I did not know that Weiand made smaller supercharges. Thanks for the help.

You can get ones that have an aluminum box that surrounds the carb, sealing it in for a centrifugal style charger.
