Steering column electrical harness

Hey guys, I was given an AT steering column out of a 72' to put into my 63. I know they make an adapter to link the two harnesses together but it will not work in this case. My truck has had the entire original harness removed and has an EZ aftermarket harness installed. All of its wires are marked on the wire cases every 12". I need to know what each of the colored wires in the steering column go to so I can match them up. Does anyone know or have a diagram?

There is a wiring diagram in the electrical section.

Re: Steering column electrical harness

Looking at the diagram the half moon connector on the upper left shows the wires.

1 white---from brake switch.
2 dark green--- right turn signal/brake light
3. yellow--- left turn signal/brake light
4. Purple.... from fuse panel...turn signal flasher power wire
5. brown...for the tail lights, I believe.
6. light blue.. double wire for front turn signal and dash signal light
8. dark blue.. the other front turn signal and dash signal light
9. black.... ground wire for the horn relay
