NP205 and automatic trans question
Hello, I have a 72 1/2 ton 4x4 with a th350 trans and a np205 transfer case. I want to change the trans to a th400. Do I only need the 400 adapter to connect to the 205? Is the 400 longer than the 350. Any other issues. Thanks

Re: NP205 and automatic trans question
Not 100%, I believe the 400 is longer and the spline count is different. (27vs32?)

Re: NP205 and automatic trans question
the th400 is quite a bit longer then a th350. and the output is bigger on the th400 so you'd need the matching 205 and adapter. or a divorced setup.. also between the th400 there are i think 2 diffrent length outputs so make sure you have the right adapter for the trans
