Anyone use evercoat lite weight?
Thinking about switching from bondo brand to evercoat, bondo pro isn't that great to me. And hard to find in gallon size, will bondo harder work with evercoat? Bondo seems get hard crystal like clumps in the bottom, what is causing this reaction? Is it screwed from the factory? Because it doesn't happen with every can I buy. Thanks for advice.

Re: Anyone use evercoat lite weight?
I use the evercoat litewieght. and it is ok, could be better but I have used worse. The hardner that you have for youre Bondo brand will work with the Evercoat brand. The evercoat does leave pinholes and air pockets but that doesn't present problems as I work them on out of the work piece. I also use a evercoat 2 part filler putty. It is like a body filler except it is more litewieght and dgoes more toward the finishing end.Iplce iton the filler in the end stages to touch up the small imperfections in the filler that arise before primer

Re: Anyone use evercoat lite weight?
I used the Rage Gold by Evercoat. I like it, easy to sand, and never had any problems with it. Its also easy to find online. As far as using the old hardner, The Rage comes with hardner for the whole gallon so you shouldn't need to. Think the price is less than $50 for the gallon. DISCLAMIER I'm not a pro body man but just some guy working in his garage .
