Help with a 67 GMC VIN needed
Hello all,
Purchasing a 67 GMC stepside, and the VIN decoders I have seen on here confuse me because the VIN on the truck doesn't fully match the examples i found on this site. My VIN is CS1570C PC9001A Any help appreciated. Kind regards,

Re: Help with a 67 GMC VIN needed
The 15 is for 1/2t. The 70 stumps me. That should be a letters. The digit where the 7 is would denote body type, such as Fenderside (C) or Wideside (D). The next digit would denote the assembly plant and there's no plant I know of that zero or the letter O is used for. C is for 1967.
Are you reading this from the VIN plate on the door jamb?

Yes, when you open the door, on the right hand side door jamb is the plate
I will reverify the number, but i'm pretty sure that it is correct.
