New Project vehicle.
Initial plans are to get some tires and brakes on it a try it out. After that who knows.I have some ideas but don't know how far or in which direction I will take it.I had wanted to do one for a while, then at a show here in Feb. there was one done up and I got the fever again.Yesterday I saw this on CL and the $$ was right so......
All the mechanicals on it work though the brake cable is a bit short.Baskets are side by side but look original.Everything is a bit rusty but I figured to paint the rims and such anyway. It's been a while since I've done anything on a bike but unless things have really changed ......... It'll have to set for the next month or so since I have a trip but I don't gotta have it to get to work or anything. I do have one question,it originally seems to have had 1.75 X24 tires, does anyone know if I can put a 2.125X24 on the same rim?The rim looks to be about 1 in from inside lip to inside lip. I think it will make a decent around the neighborhood and swap meet cruiser.

Re: New Project vehicle.
Yeah,I saw one for sale at Carlisle (before I had any money),went back and it was gone. I've always wanted one. Don't worry, people won't think you've gotten old just because you got one (shhhh...). Years ago I went by a house that had a whole mess of bikes all bunched up by a shed. I spotted a tandem trike and wanted to go back to see about it,but never did. How cool would that be? Not that I would, but I pictured a perfect party machine. Two people could get all floppied up and still be able to cruise!! (and have a place for the cooler)

Cool Bike
I got mine about 8 years ago at a local Dresser Wayne plant closing auction. Looked cool and had to have it. Have kept it in the shed waiting on right time to go ahead and refurbish it. Already had the cool looking chest on it when I got it but I picked up this cool horn for it when I rehab it. Actually never thought of using it at the car & truck shows, maybe have to advance the plan for rebuild now. Richard

Cool bike. the larger tires will work fine on the back, you might have trouble on the front though due to the brakes and depending on how wide the fork is.
