Coming back together.....
I'm not sure how many check out the "Engine and Drivetrain" subforums, but I'm in the midst of an LS1 swap in my 68 stepper. Well, even though she's not running yet, the engine IS in. I still have some wiring and some odds and ends to take care of, but I was able to at least go ahead and get the hood back on Saturday. While it was out, I washed it down since it was covered in dust from just sitting since November. I also installed new 2" front drop springs from ECE a couple weeks ago, so if some of you may be thinking she's sitting just a bit lower, you're not mistaken.
These aren't great pics, but at least she's back in photogenic form, now. As soon as she's back up and going again, I'll get some more artistic shots.

Re: Coming back together.....
I never go to any of those forums. I'm glad you showed that here. I know you were needing something and contemplating a way to go. Does this mean you're keeping it?

Re: Coming back together.....
See.. if you had done the Big Block, you wouldn't have needed the drop springs at all ! Could have saved all that work ..
(kidding) Looks great man.

Re: Coming back together.....
New vid from last night. Sorry about the foggy look. I took the camera out of the nice cool house outside into the muggy, humid air, and the lens fogged up.
Not sure why my power steering pump is whining like that. It's full of fluid.
