installing a T700 need some help

Hi guys,

I want to install a T700 in-place of my T400 because of my gas milage. Can anyone tell me what is involved. I already have the T700 It came out of a chevelle so it should bolt up, the box is rated to 600+hp, it has a lock up converter and all the cables/hoses that go with it.
Do you need to cut the cross member, how does it mount, will the linkages fit straight on to the column shift or do I need an adaptor, etc???
I tried searching the site for info but couldnt find what I wanted, did I miss it?

Its a 72 2WD 3/4T 454ci
Thanks in advance!
