Truck advice
I am looking into buying a 66 longbed. It has a 327 said to be original and a 4 spd manual. I dont know much at all about these trucks. Were PS and PB available? What about front disks? The owner said the engine smokes, though I dont know the extent of it. The truck is cheap, and Im not looking for anything great. I just wanted to get a better perspective on the older chevy trucks. Any advice/help/random facts would be appreciated.
Thanks Aaron |

these trucks did not come with power streeing or power brakes that I know of. there are however after market kits to do convertions. here are a couple of links that will explaine it in more detail.

all that stuff is easy enough to add to these trucks, the p/s you can use the adapter kit and a box off of a 68-80 chevy truck 10-30 series, and the disk brakes you can use the spindles and such off of any 71-87 chevy
