68 c30...disk brake conversion
Hey everyone, I just bought a 68 c30 flatbed pickup and I'm planning on using it as a tow rig, but before I tow anything big I want to change out the front drum brakes to disk...does anybody know of anywhere to get a kit that will let me keep it 8 lug in front or can I use the front end from an 80's style pickup with disk...any help would be great

Re: 68 c30...disk brake conversion
Welcome to the board!
Yes any 71-87, 3/4-ton or 1-ton can be used for donor parts for your '68. I suggest getting all of the front suspension (from the a-arms out) and all the steering linkage. This is an easy way to add power steering also.
