CPP brake proportioning valve
I installed all new brake lines, CPP brake booster and proportioning valve. I have fluid leaking from the plastic sending unit on top of the proportioning valve. Does the proportioning valve need to be replaced or the sending unit.
Thank you, Gump |

Is it actually leaking from the valve or is it on the fitting which fits into the rear of the valve where the line which supplies the rear brakes fluid ? I just went through an ordeal involving CPP and a defective proportioning valve which at first appeared to leak from the switch but was determined to be at the top of the fitting where a small plastic piece was installed in their valve. They sent me a metering valve kit which will not fix it then I finally got tired of their tech guys treating me like crap so I purchased one from them and waited until CPPJEFF got me a refund! Goodluck post what you find please....

Re: CPP brake proportioning valve
Good call as that is a defective valve if it is leaking from the plastic switch.
