1/24th in progress
Yea.. I hear you about the grille it doesn't look as good as the stock one, I agree. I'm stil working on it though. I have already changed it since I took that picture. The hood wouldn't tilt foward with the grille assembly on it....SO I have been playing with different idea's.
Can't get a good picture of it right now, to dark, I'll post one tomorrow. MandarinSixSeven I made those out of hobby tubing from the hobby store. FRENCHBLUE72 Started on it last night, and have been on it all day, except to take my daughter to get her driving permit. That's another story though.

Where to buy
matt_field
Matt... you can buy them off the internet, or just about any hobby store. They are made buy JADA TOYS. COM, check there site and message boards you can find them. E-Bay sells alot of them also. Roberty If they made a nice set of rallies I would, but as of now they don't even make them, so I use what I think looks nice. I also like the bigggggggger tires. Thanks though, I asked for input didn't I. I have changed the front all ready, but I don't know if I like it any better.

Final Product!
Well, this is what I ended up with. What do you think? I know the front end isn't the prettiest, but it's different. I changed wheels and added the hinges for the bed cover.
Here are both pictures side by side.

Nice diecast Andy
I like the suicide doors and the hood. The pipes/wheels look cool as well. Like some said, the front end might change a bit, but other than that, you have a nice diecast. I'll attach a few of my truck. It's not as nice as yours, but I tried to make it look like my truck...or so....

Here is a picture of some that I have done.

WOODYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I replaced the bed with wood and cut the hood for the scoop.
This one is closer to my real truck . Well it least the color is closer. I do have the KMC wheels though.

1/24th TRUCKS
Blue_71
Haven't ever seen any long beds by JADA. I do know that Chevrolet made one as a promo, years ago. My dad has one on his mantel at home, and it's red also. He keeps it there nowing it just tears me up every time I see it. He worked for Chevorlet for 30 years before he retired, had a lot of cool trucks and cars. I think thats why I like trucks so much is I started out driving them all the time. When he get a new one, I would have it to drive to school, because he always drove his car. I would put the miles on them for him. About every 3000 or so he would get a new truck. COOL I didn't mind. 2 wheel or 4x4 it didn't matter. CHEVY_FOREVER You can buy them off the internet or at hobby stores. I have found milezones is about the cheapest place. Here are a couple of places. http://www.milezone.com/ http://www.adkinsstore.com/ http://www.playerslowriders.com/
