In Cab Fuel Fill Opening
What have you guys used to seal the opening to the cab for the fuel tank after it has been removed. The cap is "rigged" closed, but would like some other ideas. Don't want to weld and paint the cab right now. Have seen one or two posts about a gas tank delete plate, but don't see any real info about it.
Thanks

I've never understood why cats get so bent out of shape if nobody has the answer or any input.

Re: In Cab Fuel Fill Opening
I saw a truck with a factory rubber plug in the hole. I think it was an F600

Re: In Cab Fuel Fill Opening
For a temporary solution, I cut the neck off of the old tank, slipped it into the hole and put the cap on. The rubber grommet holds it in there fine. I just have to make sure nobody borrows my truck and goes to fill it up!

Re: In Cab Fuel Fill Opening
I thought about doing the same and weld a plate on the cutoff end of the filler tube. That way someone doesn't accidentally fill the cab up with fuel
