Installing Speaker Wires From LMC question
I bought a new speaker through LMC and noticed it has 2 speakers instead of one like the originals and it has 4 wires instead of 2 like the originals. does anyone know how to wire it to the original AM radio? which ones are the ground and the power? thanks

Re: Installing Speaker Wires From LMC question
The speaker you got from LMC is designed for 2 channel stereo, it's the wrong impedance for the factory radio.

Re: Installing Speaker Wires From LMC question
With the wrong impedance will overheat your radio resulting in radio failure

Re: Installing Speaker Wires From LMC question
wire it like this and it'll be fine..
the lmc dual speakers are most likely 4 ohm units like 99% of car speakers today.. wire it like this and your stock radio will see an 8ohm load.. more than enough to work safely with the oem mono radio |
