70 Monte Carlo 12 bolt in a 65 C10
I found a 70 Monte 12 bolt 411 Posi. Anything major need done to fit it under my C10. I figure trailing arm brackets and a new Panhead bar kit should be all. Maybe shock mounts moved. Trying to get back to 6 or 5 lug. I currently have a Dana 8 lug as it is set up as a pull truck. Thanks for any feedback. I think the WMS to WMS on the Monte is 61" so it should fit nicely

Check the width, but it should be straightforward.

Re: 70 Monte Carlo 12 bolt in a 65 C10
Yes, Thanks I do want the 4-3/4 pattern, putting 12" Billet Specialties Lites on it. If I go disc on the rear is there a donor rotor and mounting plate I can use. I also have a set of 85 1/2 ton spindles for the front and somebody told me I can use camaro rotors with the 4-3/4 pattern. Any ideas...

Re: 70 Monte Carlo 12 bolt in a 65 C10
Don't quote me but I thought someone made a disc kit that used the original drum brake spindles that use the Camaro (or late B body) rotors. That was the downfall of the kit, it gave you the pass. car bolt pattern. For you it would be a benefit.
Wish I could remember who it was... maybe Fat Man or Speedway???
