Rust-free 68-72 Cab For Sale

I have a 68-72 truck cab for sale that is rust-free. I have owned it since April 2011 and it has been garaged the entire time. The floorboards have no rust, the rockers have been replaced and the roof has been replaced. It is a non-A/C cab, but has an uncut dash. The inside rear roof seam needs to have the weld ground and smoothed. It has a hole chopped in the tunnel (low tunnel) for a shifter, but I have a piece to replace that from an original floorboard. The fuel filler neck hole has been filled-in. The previous owner did all the work and took the cab to a shop to be finished and they weren't doing it the way he wanted (the shop was starting to bondo things) so he took it home and decided to sell it for a truly original rust-free cab. I bought this cab to use with my 68, but then decided to build a complete second truck, now I just need the cab out of my garage, I need the space! Something has to go and I would rather sell it to someone that needs it than move it to the backyard and have it start rusting. It is not perfect, it needs some touching-up before primering but it is rust-free. I am asking $500 for the cab. It didn't come with a VIN tag or a title and it will be sold without a VIN tag and a title. I am located in Pearland, TX, on the southern edge of Houston.

jw, I've built many of these trucks and something doesn't look right on the roof of this cab..not being critical at all just hit me with the second pic and others...unless it's just the pics roof looks pitched up in front...may be me though...I would have to see a door mounted ..if not it should bring the money...jim

Re: Rust-free 68-72 Cab For Sale

I believe that would just be the camera angle. The previous owner had bolted doors on after the roof replacement and everything fit correctly. I guess I could take pictures measuring the door openings from the roof to the rockers in a couple of places to show that the roof is where it should be. Thanks for pointing out how it appears in the photos. I will add more pictures with the necessary proof of the roof.

That's what I thought too but it does look like the whole cab is tilted back so maybe that was it.

Re: Rust-free 68-72 Cab For Sale

OK, So I took a measuring tape to the cab and the top door seal edge is parallel with the rocker. I checked this several places on this cab and verified this on the cab of my 68. I still need to post some pictures of this to make sure no is spooked by this.
