Canada WTB: 77-79 door panel trim ring

[1979 GMC Sierra]

I'm looking for a 77-79 door panel trim ring. Looking for one without the pull strap...even though the picture i posted is a pullstrap one. I just need one, but will also consider a pair if you don't want to split them up. Same goes for the woodgrain inserts if you want to sell the rings with them. Thanks.

i have 7 of them and they all have the the space for the strap. sorry. are the ones without the strap a lot harder to find? cant recall ever seeing one. Rod.

They are quite a bit harder to find. They came on some of the trim levels below Silverado/Sierra Classic

Thanks for looking Rod, i appreciate it. If i can't find one without the space for the strap, i may have to purchase one of the ones you have.

I have 77 woodgrain door panels to put in my truck, and both have the trim rings with the space for the strap...however one of the rings is cracking and splitting in the seam. I bought a pair of OEM doors off a 78 i'm gonna be putting on my truck, and one of the doors has the aluminum insert with the solid trim ring around it with no space for the strap. So what i'm hoping to do is take that trim ring off and use it on the woodgrain door panels i have...which is why i'm trying to find another solid trim ring to match.

Those are Cheyenne only trim rings. The ones with the pull straps were Silverado trim level. I assume they are the same for GMC trim levels that are comparable to the Cheyenne and Silverado trim levels. I rarely see Cheyenne trucks . Mostly Silverado or the lower trim levels. I have one pair of the Cheyenne trim levels that are NOS and one pair of NOS Silverado. The Cheyenne trims are super hard to find and I haven't seen a set other than the. Ones I have. If you see a Cheyenne in the salvage yards be sure to check it out.

There were not many of the High-Mid Cheyenne or High Sierra models made.
