Unhappy Scrapped the flip tail light Idea. Mabye...

Yepper I have spent enough time trying to figure out how to properly hing the light housing, so that it would not hit the box side when opening. I am going to sell the Blazer tank and buy a fule cell and run the filler thur the bed floor. I usually would not give up on a good Idea but I will make this a exception.

Later

Damn!!! I was watching this progress to attempt it myself. Oh well...I have more time to figure something out too, but I have considered the floor filler with the blazer tank. Good Luck!

It was just way to difficult for me. I did not want to stop but it has taken at least a week of 6 hour days and no progress.

I wan't to get this project moving so I am going to go the on the more travled route and do it the easy way.

If you have lot's of time and really good brain power it is doable I have seen 3 Blazers with it done to them.

I'm tryin to figure out how to fill mine up too. I have a friend that makes kitchen cabinets, he suggested looking at some cabinet hinges that push out as they swing around. Maybe you could check out a hardware store and see what they got. I've been working on this one too for a while, I feel your pain.

I got a hinge from the Home Depot this afternoon as it opend it pops out mabye it may work. I guess I will try it again. I have the filler tube and neck all setup and in place just waiting for the hinged light and it's set.

Still looking for advice.
