Do the ladies like the truck?

Do the chicks like driving in your trucks? I just graduated HS and I've been driving my truck for a year now and not too many girls like driving in my truck. Hell nobody but me likes driving in my truck. What is wrong with people? Have they gotten too soft? It seems like the only cars the ladies are impressed with are the plastic nissans and all that other garbage. I was born in the wrong generation!

I think the bare interior, ripped seat, loud pipes, and the hard/slow shiftin 4 speed have alot to do with it.

Personally I would not let them in my truck if they are judging me by what I'm driving.

Wife loves ours. As a matter of fact out of about 10 cars here that are worth 100 times the money, the ole 79 pickup is our favorite to get out as a family because all 3 of us can sit up front in the bench seat and my son can see everything, we can all talk to each other without turning around, easy to get in and out of, and just overall comfy for us.

Find the right girl,,,,they are out there. When you get older you also start to appreciate the ease of sliding in and out of a bench seat with spacious room

Every girl(and guys) love to ride in my old gold truck. It's just fun for them to cruise in a smooth running piece of Americana then at night, Park it then crank up the radio in front of a bonfire and drop the tailgate. May not be the quietest, safest, or fuel efficient vehicle but when it comes to that well-aged Chevrolet girls love them.

I almost think my truck gets jealous of girls, the seatbelt tights up on them, it doesn't like running right and only dose this when I'm rolling with another girl, my buddy's have no problems and always runs fine. Lots of girls like my truck but would rather ride in the box, so I tell them " u can ride in my box as long as I can ride in yours later"......funny how that trick only worked once

Two things: in general, girls/women don't like getting dirty, and an old truck looks dirty to them even if it is clean; also, girls/women don't like being embarrassed, and old trucks are an embarrassment to most people, in other words, you are too poor to have a nice new/newer truck. Plus, no air bags, abs, etc. spell danger to most people.

Now in a rural area the mentality is different. At my school trucks outnumbered cars 10-1. They liked it even better if it was dirty to the point mud dripped off it and marked your parking space. There is no embarrassment driving a square.

The truck will be around long after the girls...............and hold their original shape better.


Not to mention they are easier to fix when they don't turn on properly.

I'm not sure, have you seen what some of these newer trucks look like after a couple years? My 40 year old trucks look better than most of the new ones running around I can't go anywhere without someone making a comment at some point.
I figure if a women doesn't want to ride in it,,,,it's probably not the truck and more likely the short bald guy driving it

My ex used to hate my truck, but at the same time she said she'd miss it if I ever sold it. I've had mixed emotions from women about it. Some love the big, loud, orange piece of junk, and some just laugh at me and walk away. Depends on the kind of girl I guess.

My wife wants to drive mine when it comes home from the bodyshop someday .Even as a beater she loved driving it and it was her idea to start the restoration by selling her 68 Chevelle Malibu to fund it .It didnt hurt that I had bought and restored a 72 Malibu convertible for her though.

I have had about 30 classic (old) cars and trucks all restored or hotrodded nicely since we were married and my wife has pretty much liked all of them but only in the driveway at a distance, not much for riding in the old stuff even when really nice too,..but she knows it makes me content and sane too so all is cool around here, my twin girls like to talk to the "boys" about their Dad's cool trucks but they too don't really like to ride in them. Mom's Cadilac sts is their ride.

My wife would like my truck better if the AC worked. Ladies tend to like quieter rides, so that they can talk our ears off without having to shout over the exhaust.

So have a working AC and a quieter exhaust, and then she will be just fine.

I broke my wife in with owning tractors. After she accepted that I was going to have a tractor till the day I departed this world, she isn't too concerned about an old truck.

We were at a tractor show once, and another lady was talking with her. My wife was about to get starting saying something about my hobby. The other lady stopped her and said, "honey don't ever get jealous over his attention to tractors; it could be toward another woman". lol

only a couple lol... they don't really hate the truck cuz it's a truck they dont like that it's loud.. well drones when cruising and smells of gas/oil/exhaust... my truck and my cutlass were both this way.. top tip... girls don't like car/truck anything with dumped exhaust. lol

it can also be said my driving isn't for everyone.. a 4 speed and a spool get put to use well in my toys lol
