Couple questions about my 64 K10
Hi does anyone Know what type of hubs these are or have information on them? Also if you can get parts for them and if so where?
Second picture: I feel embarrased asking this but what is the part called that goes from the pittman arm to the idler arm? is it the steering arm? and does anyone know where to find a new one? Thanks |

Re: Couple questions about my 64 K10
I'm not sure about those hubs, but the piece between the pitman arm and the steering arm is the draglink. Have you tried your local auto parts, LMC or Classic Parts?

Re: Couple questions about my 64 K10
I'm not sure about the hubs either but they are what came on my 63Burb. I replaced that axle though with auto hubs and axle from an 87Burb and then installed Warn unlock hubs.

Re: Couple questions about my 64 K10
Thanks for the Info, I didn't have luck on classic trucks or lmc finding a drag link but still searching.
Has anyone tried replacing the factory hubs with aftermarket ones? |

Re: Couple questions about my 64 K10
Those are the old spicer hubs, called hub-loc. There are really no parts for them anymore, however once in a blue moon they can be found on ebay. You can get new hubs to fit from warn, mile marker, and superwinch. The drag link is available through carparts discount like you found. You can also use the the tie rod ends and coupler for a 1 ton and 3/4 ton 2wd for less money. The center to center measurement should be around 16 inches for the ends.

Re: Couple questions about my 64 K10
I used the Selectro hubs on my '55 4x4 with the Napco front diff, and had no problems with them. But then again that was 30 years ago.
