New member from Houston
Hello all! Just joined a few days ago and have been searching posts almost the entire time. There are a lot of nice trucks on here and a lot of knowledgeable people.
I recently (a week and a half ago) purchased a 71 Chevy C-10 SWB with a 350/TH350 combo. I found it on Craigslist about an hour away from where I'm located. I don't have a lot of big plans for it just yet, but I've wanted a 67-72 C10 for several years. The plan for the next few years is to just enjoy it and drive it as often as possible. I need to make a few changes during that time, but this won't be a frame off resto for quite some time. I plan on rewiring the whole truck, replacing the gauges (accessory gauges don't work) with a factory replacement and add a tach, relocating the gas tank under the bed (fuel cell in the bed now) and add A/C and overdrive. Eventually I want to change the wheels too. They're currently 22's of unknown brand, but I want to go with 20's for a little more sidewall (protection for the wheels). Getting many ideas from several others on this site so far.

Re: New member from Houston
Thanks, I've actually been following your build thread. Your indecision on wheels is helping me find what i want to get. But I'm like you when it comes to making a decision about the wheels. I've been looking to replace the wheels on my GTO for about a year now. I can't seem to decide. I think I've got them picked out, but I just can't afford them yet.

Re: New member from Houston
That's about where I am too. I'm thinking Into Pentia at this point but well see how it goes.
