Where's the White???

Hi,
I have a color question, My truck is all Bronze and the Glove box says it's a two color, bronze and white. What on the truck came white? The glove box says it only has lower body moulding so i assume it's not the two tone with the white in the center. I did a search and see alot of variations, i also assume alot of that is custom to owners liking.

Re: Where's the White???

. . . .

Can you take a picture of the SPID ?

My original one shows mine listed as: "WHITE & MED BLUE" and is a blue body with a white roof only.

I seem to have that same rear bumper... maybe... can you post another pic and is the color pure white or off white like the interior?

The rear bumper on my truck ( when it was blue ) was silver. It has a "normal" chrome bumper on it now.

The SPID is on the glove box door and has all of the options listed, like the picture of mine, above. It stands for Service Parts Identification Decal. If yours says "WHITE & MED BRONZE" then it probably just had the white roof like mine.

To ad pictures, click on "Post Reply" on the lower left corner after the last post - then scroll down to "manage attachments". Then click "choose file" to choose where in your computer to get them from ( you can ad five pictures to one thread at a time ) then click "upload" to have them added as a new post. Sometimes I have to click "upload" a few times - FAST - to get them to upload.

Re: Where's the White???

If your '70 truck came from the factory Medium Bronze (aka copper poly) and White there were only two possible standard paint codes. It would be either 551 like the bigger picture or the less common (on pickups) 582.
The picture below should clear things up fo you. But I would still like to see the SPID, at least the paint and trim codes.
