The 86 Is Home
Hello just wanted to say killer site. My name is Jason owner of Outlaw Boost me and my son are doing a father and son build on the 86 we saved from the crusher..
The night we got it home. The next day. We started by pulling the push bar off the lumber rack and cleaned the truck real good got the oil leak fixed and fixed the rad. she runs like a top and on little rust spot. we are going to go the stret/track with this truck. long list of stuff to do so it will be a long build. |

Re: The 86 Is Home
Ok I have a question I have to swap out the motor perches for a BBC or has some one used a soild upper mount and the 4.3 v6 perches? If i have to swap them do i have to look for 86 perches I was reading and some one said the 86 frame are different them say a 77 or so any help will be great.

Re: The 86 Is Home
I could be wrong, but I thought the V6 and the SBC used the same mounts and locations, but you have to move the perches to the next set of holes for the BBC...like I said, I could be wrong.

Re: The 86 Is Home
I like this truck, especially the color. Are you planning to leave the paint? Also like the rims on it.
