spare tire with trailer hitch?

Will the spare tire bracket kit work with a trailer hitch? I'm wanting to do both, just don't know if they would interfere with each other.

Also, if anybody has pics of the spare tire bracket/carrier that is listed in LMC truck, I'd like to see a picture. I can't really tell how the tire connects to the bracket.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Ok, I've got the steel "farm" looking bumper. But no spare tire spot. I'm looking to add one, so it looks like I'm good to go.

Re: spare tire with trailer hitch?

I have a hitch (not a reciever) but a heavy style. I had to make a new bracket from heavt angle that is only about 1 1/2 inches wide it bolts outside the right frame rail and allows the spare rack to move closer to the panard bar. It is about 3/4 inch away but fits nicely.

Re: spare tire with trailer hitch?

It's hard to say with an aftermarket spare tire mount. The one engineered by GM was designed to not interfere with mounting a hitch. These trucks were made to haul. Is your truck a longbed or shortbed?
