Passenger Kick Panel Vent Leak
I pulled up the carpet on the passenger side of my '85 GMC Sierra the other day and the padding under the carpet was wet and some rust was beginning. I traced the leak to the seal around the kick panel vent. My question is, should much water be in the area between the kick panel and the fender anyway? I couldn't get my hand very far through the vent but I'm assuming the water that does get in that area is able to drain out the botton some how?

Re: Passenger Kick Panel Vent Leak
I can see where it ran down the metal under the kick panel vent. It's not the heater core.
