Cab mount bushings
I just put a new set of rubber cab mount bushings on my 65 C10 and the cab sits lower than the bed. I tried stacking the bushings backwards so the top bushing was on the bottom and it lined up better but the bushings split after 4 months. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same alignment issues or is there a different brand of bushings that fit better? Also the squeaking of the bushings is louder then before.

Re: Cab mount bushings
I have the urethane ones. They seemed to fit fine. Washers can be added to raise the cab small amounts.

Re: Cab mount bushings
what is under the bed for insulators. perhaps it has been replaced and is to thick
what shape are your cab supports and floors. the frame brackets also rust out around the holes and have to be rebuilt sometimes ron |
