Which aluminum radiator to upgrade to?
Hey gang, I have been looking for a new radiator and decided to upgrade to an aluminum unit. I want something close to a direct fit but don't want to spend a fortune. Champion is a brand that pops up as a fairly cheap unit but the reviews I have found are all over the map from great to terrible. Another brand I was leaning towards was ECP or Engineered cooling products. These see to look more factory but some of those reviews were questionable as well. Has anyone had experiece with these Radiators? Any other brands that you have had a good experience with?

not much of an upgrade is a cheapo aluminium radiator// compared to a stock over the counter 3 or 4 row unit//IMO

I have been looking at Entropy Radiators. They have direct fits for our trucks and includes electric fans. Price didnt seem too bad. Check out thier website entropyrad.com

I think champion radiators are thin and cheep expect about 3 years and do it again just my experience

I look at radiators and water pumps in the same way. If you are going to build a great running engine and put it in a good looking truck. That is NOT the time to go cheap. I have seen too many high dollar rods and trucks sitting on the side of the road with the water puking out on the ground, that is not what I want. I want to go from point "A" to point "B" without problem. That is why I put a "Be Cool radiator" in my stroker truck (1984), and I have a "Be Cool" radiator sitting in a box in the basement for the 1968 truck, when I get to that point. Don't blow the good investment by surrounding it with cheap paraphenalia.
