Papa Smurf

So after a while of creepin on here I bought myself a new toy a few weeks ago.... an 84 k10 with 70000 on the dash( okay okay 170000) 350 with a quadrajet a 4 speed gonna start tinkering with it more and more starting with a wiring harness from painless cause after 2 weeks and hids this one is toast and i look under the dash to see the worst wiring job ever.

Oh and i was pulling a trailer and the stupid f*** before me didnt put plates to sandwich the frame and the bolts ripped through the frame gotta love stupid people...

Now to see if i can figure out pictures

Re: Papa Smurf

Nice looking truck!

Maybe some spray on bed liner or some rattle can undercoating to protect the floor. It just looks like the floor has a little surface rust in the pics.

Re: Papa Smurf

Kool truck! One night comming home from work down the HWY I felt something funny in the front. Thought man that's weird. It was raining cats and fish and I didn't want to deal with it. So I drove on home in my '87 K10. Pouring down doin 40mph in a 65mph zone. Got home finally and parked. Got up the next morning to take a peak and man I have no idea how I made it home. Lost the front wheelbearings on the driver side. Took out the spindle, bearings, axleshaft, locking hubs and so on. Was a bear to fix because everything was welded together. Got it back on the road a few days later. What fun.
