Its more than likely an added clock... wasnt an option... but some dealers put in a camaro clock to fill the hole.... most time you find newer truck clocks 73-83 maybe in years that someone has put in... note most even say quartz. Theres gonna be two wires hanging out the back somewhere near the clock ... 1 postive one ground.

I never did understand why GM never offered the clock where the vacuum gauge would have went. That picture you posted Rod looks good enough to be factory. Robert

Some of the dealers installed the clocks out of 67 Camaros into the trucks. They should be available as repros from Classic Industries. I believe that the PN is 3980116.
The Camaro clocks come up on E-Bay from time to time. The clocks were setup with housings as they mounted on the console. My son's Burb has a dealer installed Camaro clock and they turned the housing upside down so as to mount it just above the windshield. Looks real factory! Jim |

My '80 chevy c-10 had a clock in the dash. Pretty sure it was stock.

That clock is a nice addition in the vac hole! I would like firm info on what it is, and how it mounts Rod. Please post a pic of the back side.

A variety of clocks will work.. I have a few different types laying around here in case I get the urge one day.
Back side pic as requested. Remeber you will have to cut your inner plate and your lens and put in a piece of plastic to make a clear lens.

They look like this before mounted... easiest way to mount them would be sheet metal screws to the inner metal plate.
