69 Chevy K20 Barn Find

I was doing some welding work for a farmer and was talking to him and he said he had a 69 Chevy in the barn. His dad bought it a few years after the 1st owner had it so they have had it pretty much since new. It looks pretty solid as far as rust goes for being an Iowa truck but it is sure beat up. It was even rolled when a front spring mount broke while driving. It has pretty much been shedded when not in use. It is a 350, 4 speed. I couldn't get very good pictures but these should be enough to see what it is. It is Medium Olive with a White roof and its White below the bottom trim. He will not sell it. Believe me I tried. Even his dad doesn't want to see it go off of the farm.

They do have a 77 Chevy Scottsdale/20 4X4 they might let go of though so I may have to make room.

Cool, although I love fixed up trucks there is also something really cool about the one's that just keep on working.

Always love barn finds. No idea the psychology behind it.

Yes it would but he was very clear of the fact that it was not for sale.

Re: 69 Chevy K20 Barn Find

I say keep working on him and check now and then. He isn't using it and will need some money eventually. I have seen guys on here go to look at one truck and find a better one in the barn. Go figure.
I worked on the owner of this 4x4 swb for over twenty years. He finally gave in when I paid his storage for him and sold it to me for $600...

yeah keep working on him. If I'd given up whenever someone said no I'd have half the stuff I do.
