Re: WTB nice original 67 longbed box

Not exactly around the corner but.....I spoke to this guy yesterday afternoon. Was trying to get the hood off of him but not for sale. He told me this was a 46,000 mile farm truck that spent it`s life stored in the barn. Claimed no rust and original paint.
Didn`t want to sell me the hood because he was planning on dropping the cab and front clip on a 72 shortbed frame with a stepside. Seems a cryin shame to mess up a truck like that. Wish I had the money to save it.

Re: WTB nice original 67 longbed box

I have a complete original paint 67 C20 small window cab. The box is very nice original condition with no rust through anywhere that I can see even the tailgate is nice. Has factory lower trim and some extra screws holding it on one wheel well. Has factory wood floor that probably needs a few boards replaced. Cab and front end has some normal rust in rockers but was a shedded farm truck for years. I bought and drove the truck home as it was a daily driver for the previous owner and I was going to use the cab and clip on a project but sold the project. Truck runs and drives last spring but the brakes may need some work and it did have an oil leak from setting. I just put it outside this spring otherwise it has been inside last 6 years too. Complete truck $1200 without newer tires/wheels and $1500 with. Mark

Re: WTB nice original 67 longbed box

There is a set of 67 trucks 20 minutes from here that look to both have decent beds on them. Ive been working a deal but he hasnt came down enough. If your a buyer on one of the beds I could broker the deal easier.

Re: WTB nice original 67 longbed box

if you want a really really nice one (not sure if it was 67...) check Phoenix AZ craigslist... a guy on there, not me or anyone I know, has a few new take offs (one was 67-72). No kidding, he wants $1500

here it is, unreal!.... http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/pts/3153902442.html

Re: WTB nice original 67 longbed box

Cole Here is the pictures of the 67 C20. Original wood bed floor is still all in tact. Tee doors are near perfect with no extra mirror holes just the factory small mirror set up and no damage and the bottom seams are not rotted at all. Even the tailgate is very straight original.
Passenger bedside behind tire has a small rust through on the very corner behind tire. There is no rust through anywhere else even feeling up under the wheel house top area where they are known for wheel well rust through. top of each bed rail is straight and only 2 bolt holes I presume where a tool box was mounted maybe across the front. Front bed panel looks straight and not rusted anywhere I could see. Rockers and cab corners are just starting to rust out but the floor seems solid. Front fenders are straight and clean with typical battery rust through on the pocket of the passenger fender. Grille and hood are straight and rust free. I was going to use the whole cab and front clip on a swb project that I never got to so the truck was nice when I bought it for these parts.

Re: WTB nice original 67 longbed box

(b the drivers side rear picture is a bad image as that is a big reflection not damage. There is only a small ding just to the left of the back up lamp in that picture.
