What to do?
Ok...I fixed the trans. leak by getting a DERALE pan and Moroso blue gasket and LOKAR anchor lock dipstick, but earlier this week I had checked the fluid level and it seemed low so I added a few more fluids into it. Now, I had put too much trans. fluid where it had a slight leak. Do I have to take out the whole pan and clean out the gasket or I just drain 2 qts or so and hope that stops the slight leak w/o removing the pan??? .

Re: What to do?
Are you checking the transmission fluid with the truck warmed up and running?

Re: What to do?
Only when the truck is warm and not running.

Re: What to do?
You need to check the fluid level while the truck is running to get an accurate reading.

Re: What to do?
Thanks...but what about my question. I drained 2 quarts or so, hoping that I don't have to remove the pan and clean out the Moroso blue gasket (reusable) then install again. I only ran the truck for radiator flush and around the block a couple times. Do you think this will stop the slight leak or I have to remove the whole thing and clean the rubber/steel gasket and reinstall again.

Re: What to do?
...I hope so. I drained close to 3qts. How much qts does our regular transmission w/ stock pan carry? My Derale pan requires 2+qts.
