help question
my question goes out to all the bone stock 67-72 people ? are the two tailgate hangers and the locking part to match the truck color or something different thanks for the help mark

Mine were painted silver. Silver is the color I've seen the more period correct guys use.

I SEEM to remember (only about 70% sure though) that they were painted when new. I vaguely remember removing what remained after it started flaking off. I'd like to know for sure since I'm about to that point in my restoration. |

Mine are painted body color. The truck has been repainted but I'm 99% sure they were body color originally. And my paint guy was too lazy to paint them if they hadn't already been painted....
