4WD Projects
Why are there never any good deals on a 4x4 shortbed project for sale in South Carolina? All the good sounding ones are 500 miles or more away.

I have several beds now. Trying to pick the best pieces of each. Got a bed from Texas that had a very nice floor but the bedsides were wrecked. Could not tell til it got here and then had it blasted. I should show you a pic of that one. Another Texas rustfree bed. True, no rust but you gotta pull the Yugo out of the side to find the bed. Nice primer job though.
I did get a very nice bed from HJAlbert in Phoenix. Great guy. Have not seen him on here lately. Let me know when you are here and we will come over.

I drove 1650 miles round trip to get a bed and frame. I guess it is all about how bad you want it.

trip
When I lived in Charleston, SC a few years back. I had a 78 Camaro that was rusted out underneath. Had a good drive train. I looked for two years for an old truck. Couldn't find squat. sold the Camaro to a friend. Two weeks later I saw two different trucks for sale. Go figure. On the serious side though, I just picked up my latest project in Arkansas. Twelve hundred miles each way. Wootdog
