Transmission help
Pulled my 307 and saginaw 3 speed out of my 68. Can't get the bellhousing and tranny apart from engine. Searched the posts and tried everything suggested, still no luck. Any help would be appreciated. This engine swap is already turned into a nightmare.
Thanks, Dave

Re: Transmission help
6 bell housing bolts and the lower cover that cover the flywheel must first be removed or the flywheel will keep the whole thing on.

Re: Transmission help
Housing looks like this and the trans. just bolts up to the back. You can pull the front lower shield and and seperate the trans. and housing together from the block or pull the trans. from the housing (four bolts), then pull the housing from the block.
