How do I clean the gauge face of my ammeter/temp./ oil pressure gauges?
Some of the white painting(?) on the gauge faces has a yellow tinge to it- can it be cleaned easily?
Looking for a magic solvent to wipe away 40 years of age....lol |

i just cleaned mine with gentle touch and dry rag, i smeared the letters on my gear pointer on my monte once with something wet be careful.

You can clean those (not likely to look much better though unless they are just dusty) but don't touch the speedo or fuel. With a little damp rag or even your finger you can accidentally rub off the markings...
