Cool find.....

Was driving down the road today and saw something that caught my eye....turned around and it was a vintage bed cover that looked like the right age for our trucks. Stopped by and talked to the guy and found out he had bought a 72 gmc longbed new and had bought this topper to go on it....topper has spent most of its life in barn stored ....looks brand new and is in perfect condition...would complete someones truck without need restoration...anyway if anybody could come get I would pass along the information on it...don't want to have bunch of people calling and bothering him.....oh yeah he also still has the gmc lwb 4x4 only has like 40k miles on it and is immaculate ...

Re: Cool find.....

Is it a texson? My dad had one on his 70 K20 and we used to sleep in the back of it on a couple camping trips. Don't think it was insulated though.

Does he want to sell the truck? If so, I would be very interested in it.

Whenever you're ready! I already checked Mapquest and all. I'm due for another trip to WNC. Been too long. Might house shop, too!

I can only dream about buying that truck right now. Matter of fact, just today I was driving my '72 GMC and thinking I need two again.
