72 C10 SBC to BBC

I'm looking to replace the 350 in my 1972 C10 with a 550hp 468.
What else will be needed to do it right? Where's the best place to buy the correct motor mounts?
Thanks!

1972 had a specific big block mount and your best place to find it would probably have to be the classifieds on this forum. You can use 68-71 big block frame stands but you said correct. I would go to the 67-72 classified page and search for some.

Re: 72 C10 SBC to BBC

Mounts and brackets are the biggies. Some accesories may not transfer over (BB power steering pump uses a remote resevoir for example). Radiator and shroud are a must (unless you had AC then you might already have the 4-core rad). Upper and lower hoses are available.

Manifolds are repopped or of course some people run headers.
