I have the rolling front support and all in my back yard that I just pilled off of my 70 Custom Camper. If you think these drums will work, I will pull them off and check the condition. Just let me know if so.

I don't think the 2wd ones will work.

I can't help but I may be able to explain why this is not an easy part to locate.
The 70 3/4 ton front drums are a one-year only deal, or at least thats what I was told. Something to do with the diameter of wheel studs. I think it's the only drum that uses the larger studs found on 71/72 disk brake trucks. 70 is an odd year as it was a transition year from drums to disks in both 2 and 4wd.

Wasn't it also a strike year, so there would not be as many trucks produced? This would make it not as prosperous to manufacture replacement parts?

erl, I'd gladly pay $90 for new ones. Jeff, the wheel studs are 1/2"(just bought lug nuts). I'm really hoping somebody upgraded their front to disc and might have good drums to sell.
If anybody would be willing to lend me one drum to do a quick check would be great, I'd pay the shipping to and from my house.

I have a GMC Master Parts book and used the GM part number at NAPA. He typed in the GM number and the correct drum came up. Sorry but my book only goes to 1969. Maybe someone else can look it up for you.

Called my local NAPA and supposedly (hopefully) they have 3 in Richmond. I go and pick-up 2 tomorrow morning from NAPA. $69 a piece. We'll see.......

Well the NAPA brakes were too small! I need 12", the ones they had were 11" and for a 2wd not 4wd. I looked through their book (date 1988) and the 12" drums for a 70 K25 were not available.
Jerry, sending you a PM.
