4x4 engine mounts for lsx

Is something like this http://diy4x.com/cart/index.php?rout...&product_id=80 my real only choice apart from fabbing them myself?

If there's another way, i'll take everything you can tell me.. And i've been using the search thread and reading through pretty much every 4x4 build

Re: 4x4 engine mounts for lsx

For some reason i can't edit this post.. So, I found that a couple people are using pacificfab's thats 400.00

How dangerous would it be to remove the cross member and use 2wd mounts?

It doesnt say what year truck you're working on....

I was thinking about the 73+ frame mounts, need to see if they fit my 72 frame.... But I would definitely add a crossmemeber... Or if you could box the frame front to back...

I'm not quite sure what you are looking for, but this should be all you need. http://www.advanceadapters.com/products/pn-713088-p/

I wish it was that easy haha. The problem is that the 4x4 xmember is different and is in the way when you try to use regular 2wd mounts.

Re: 4x4 engine mounts for lsx

this is about as cheap of an option as i can find, at 139.00 it seems to fit the bill,,they have it listed for a 47-59 i think,,but it will work in our trucks
