lift kits
does any body have lift kits in there trucks? if so is it a body lift or a suspension lift , and what are the advantages and disadvantages of them , thanks

There are no off the shelf lift kits for the 4x4's earlier than about 1969-70. These trucks came from the factory with what would equate to about a 4" lift on a '73-'87 K10. If you need more than that, you will have to either have custom springs made, or change the spring mounts over to ones that will accept say '73-'87 springs. You might also check out
http://www.diy4x.com They make the brackets for using the 52" springs up front as well as a shackle flip in the rear.
