Brake conversion ??

I am looking to swap drums for discs on the front of my 67 chev c10. Instead of buying a kit, I have heard that disc brakes of any 80's style chevy truck will bolt right on.... Is this true? Any info on this would be helpful. Thanks so much

71-87 will bolt up with some modifications.. Search in the suspension section for more details. There are several threads about disc brake swaps

Re: Brake conversion ??

We took the whole front cradle with suspension and steering along with the rear end from a '71 and put it under my '67 swb frame. It was an easy job and works great.

Re: Brake conversion ??

I took the spindles, rotors, drag link, and tie rods and just swapped them into my stock 67 control arms. Very simple just make sure not to put the drag link on backwards like i did
