couldnt find a descent 67-72 then fell into a great lil 73!!!!

every 67-72 i looked at here in the illinois rust belt was rotted to no end and if not they were 10grand and up then i found this super clean little 73 shortbed from (mexico) that was brought up the St. louis area last year!!
It is a 250 inline 6 with a 3 speed manual on the floor, has ac that works bonus!
it has a couple small bubbles on the passenger front fender other than that it is almost spotless!!! picked it up for 2400.

Nice truck! I love the slotted mags! My truck has them too! Does it have the wood bed floor and the weird tailgate? Being in AZ and close to Mexico we see quite a few of the Mexican trucks here.

Actually the late squarebodies ran our type tail lights. There is one here at the wrecking yard. There is a seam at the back bedside where the tail lights mount.

Nice ride! I ended up in my R30 because I couldn't find a decent '64-'66 burb. Now I'm glad I didn't find one. Love my square!

Nice looking rig. I like the slotted mags and the bedside step on the drivers side.

Re: couldnt find a descent 67-72 then fell into a great lil 73!!!!

thanx for the compliments guys!!! I looked high and low for a clean shortbed and this was the best i could find for the cash!!!
I got insurance on it and ordered antique plates for it (gangrn1)
found a good grille and taillight lenses for 50 bucks today, put all new belts on the motor and picked up a new valve cover gasket..
