That looks like a flex fan. Might want to get rid of that. I just had one blow up on me.

SBC From the front of the block to the fan flange:
Short pump: 5 5/8" Long pump: 7" Easy to figure out.

Even the stock flex fans need to be ditched. GM had a re-call on them way back in the day. They aren't as prone to failure as the pretty ones in the hot rod catalogs...but they will cut through your hood and anyone in the way just as easily.
