Pictures of 16x8 wheels and tires
I have 16x10 aluminum wheels with 35in tires on my truck now but want to get the front wheels inside the fender since I live on a gravel road. I want to run a wide tire but I don't know what size tire I can run with 8 in wide wheels. Anyone have any experience or pictures to help me make my decision? I'm going to white steel wheels with factory hub caps and want to order my wheels soon.
Thanks guys |

Re: Pictures of 16x8 wheels and tires
Generally, it's not a great idea to run wide tires on narrow rims. If you're looking for a 35" tire to fit a 16x8 rim, try Q78-16s. There seems to be a very limited selection, and the ones I found are aggressive mudders.

Re: Pictures of 16x8 wheels and tires
OK I see that I forgot to mention that I want to run a smaller tire on 8in wide wheel. Anyone have a picture of 285-75-16 tires on 67-72 truck that I can check out? I guess I will keep watching the steel wheel thread!
