It would be simpler to do a motor swap.

You can use your stock tank if you run a 1980 Datsun 280zx (Nissan) external Fuel pump, Available at Advance Auto Parts, p/n E8312.. $102.99. (online price)

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...lVehicle=false

You don't have to run a return line to the tank, you just put a "T" in the line before the pump and it sucks it back into the fuel supply line.

Hm, never heard of using that pump--interesting. If you do end up buying from them, use the code 'VISA' at checkout for massive savings...

I just tried the VISA code and it's a no-go..... The OC22 code will give you 15 bucks off of the pump though.

Online, enter the code at the checkout screen and a percentage will be deducted from your total. The VISA code was good for around 33% off of your order--just trying to pass on some savings to the members here...

Re: Need idea on frame swap

or you can use the tank out of a 99 burb and wire it up with a relay........just match fuel tank with the engine you are swapping. Tank will have the sender, fuel pump and return lines
