project GangGreen urban zombie responce vehicle!!!

Well since my 74 is a nasty green i have desided to go with this gang green theme LOL
here are some changes
blacked out grill
new aftermarket hood cheap local of craigslist
green shull shifter knob
got a local vynil shop making me a green emblem for the grill with an open wound in it and some green zombie siloette heads for the black hood and some responce team logos for the rear window
also gonna paint the mirrors black
any other ideas/suggestions for the project please let me know!!

Re: project GangGreen urban zombie responce vehicle!!!

My opinion is to ditch those mirrors and get the small square mirrors. You can get some small hole plugs for the holes left on the doors untill you are ready to weld them up. Other than that, its a cool truck.
Also, if and when you are ready for new wheels, Id be interested in the slot mags.

Green bulbs for the dash lights and the interior light too. If you can find one, maybe an old style growler siren for under the hood. That should keep them away. Ha ha.

Re: project GangGreen urban zombie responce vehicle!!!

so before my brother left for the army he and my neighbor thought itd be a good idea to stencil and paint a 4ft tall "punisher" style skull on the hood of his 76. i see no more appropriate paint job for your new hood than a giant punisher skull!

You can still buy 15x7 and 15x8 slots brand new from American Racing. For other sizes you have to go used though.

Re: project GangGreen urban zombie responce vehicle!!!

LOL lots of great ideas!!! defenitly gonna get some green lit gauges and a green dome light. the punisher skull would be perfect if my hood was flat but maybe one on each door with a zombie response team logo around it lol.
maybe a gun rack with a fake ar-15 on it??
how about these on the doors???

Exhaust stacks, brush guard, of road lights everywhere! bumper spikes, lug nut spikes. Or go all out like the cars in the movie "death race" style.

Re: project GangGreen urban zombie responce vehicle!!!

My ideas and suggestions are as follows: leave the truck alone and just drive it. You start putting that stuff all over your truck and most of the time 97% of people that see you in it will think you are a jerk off. At some point you're gonna have to drive this truck to pick up a girl and she's not gonna wanna be seen in a clown car or date a guy that drives one. Or your gonna not get a job because the guy who interviews you see's you get out of it and not want it seen in his parking lot. And aside from all that, it's a clean, good looking truck. It's got a very clean, period correct look that many people appreciate. You start bolting fangs and lightning bolts to it and you will destroy any value the truck has. Put the stock hood back on it, throw the skull shifter away. Put some side pipes and a snap-on vinyl tonneau cover on it and drive it...

Boy, IDK. I thought it looked great before. Add some steel rally wheels or white wagons and it would be perfect in my book. Have fun with it!

Re: project GangGreen urban zombie responce vehicle!!!

In all reality, if it were mine,
I'd paint the hood to match,
replace the mirrors,
throw on some chrome wheels like some 88-98 454 wheels,
and lower it a couple inches and call it a day.
And possibly if you still wanted the zombie killer theme, get some magnets made so its easy to put on and take off.
