Top rubber seals
When I bought my Jimmy the top apparently had not been on it except to ship it to me. No rubber seals. I took the top off. I now want to put it on. I bought all new rubbers from LMC. They don't come with instructions or pictures. Is there somewhere I can get instructions or pictures as to how to install these rubber seals for the top front, bottom sides, doors, door windows, etc. - - or maybe someone has pictures of theirs? The only one that is simple is the top front.

Re: Top rubber seals
I'm putting my top on tomorrow. I'll take pictures of the weatherstrips before I do and post them for you.

Re: Top rubber seals
OK, here you go. The first two picture are of the top corner of the windshield frame. There's a large rubber end cap that goes there. The bottom of it meets the door weatherstrip.
The third picture is of the corner of the top. There is a gap between the window rubber and the top seal. When the top is installed, the corner rubber (in the first two pictures) seals that gap. You can see the outline of the rubber on the top. The drip deflectors help keep rain and snowmelt out of the cab. I use a little bead of RTV black to make sure they're sealed tight against the top and the windshield frame. |

Re: Top rubber seals
Thanx! This is a big help. It appears I am missing the large rubber end cap as in the first pic
